The Point Power Supply Cubicle is a high-reliability three-phase power supply system engineered to deliver a steady 110V DC output for operating multiple Metro point machines simultaneously across rail networks. Built around a robust three-phase transformer, full-wave rectifier, and smoothing circuit, the system matches the stringent requirements of RDSO specification IRS:S:91/2014 to ensure maximum operational safety and performance.
Designed for continuous heavy-duty service in transit control hubs and maintenance depots, the system incorporates two identical Transformer Rectifiers connected through O-Ring diodes to provide full output redundancy. Its compact standalone cubicle layout optimizes floor space while integrating comprehensive protection, distribution breakers, digital metering, and optional insulation monitoring devices for effortless maintenance and system diagnostics.
