The LED Based Emergency Light Unit manufactured by General Auto Electric Corporation (GAEC) is a safety illumination system designed for railway rolling stock. Built in accordance with RDSO Specification No. RDSO/PE/SPEC/AC/0180-2016 (Rev0), this unit automatically provides up to 12 hours of uninterrupted coach illumination during main coach input power failures or low battery conditions. Equipped with an integrated 12V / 7AH battery, real-time health monitoring, and status LED indicators, it ensures reliable emergency lighting across passenger coaches and is fully approved by RDSO and ICF.
