The Control Communication Equipments For OFC Using 2 Wire Telephones (CCEO) manufactured by General Auto Electric Corporation (GAEC) provides robust selective calling and voice communication between central control offices and way stations. Built in accordance with RDSO Specification No. RDSO/SPN/TC/66/2007 Ver 1.0, this system operates seamlessly over Optical Fibre Communication (OFC) media as well as quad cables. Designed for high reliability in railway telecom environments, CCEO integrates Control Room Equipment (CRE), Test Room Equipment (TRE), and Way Station interfaces while maintaining backward compatibility with existing IRS-certified equipment.

- Control & Test Room Units: Includes Control Room Equipment (CRE) for selective calling and Test Room Equipment (TRE) for remote maintenance testing.
- Extensive Capacity: Supports a minimum of 80 way stations with General and Group Calling, alongside LTE integration for 20+ connections.
- Station Expansion: Connects up to 4 local station telephones using MTWE units, expandable further with TWA units.
- Security & Backups: Features a “Lock & Key” system against unauthorized operation, station number backup, and manual/remote channel patching.
- IRS Compatible & Approved: Fully compliant with IRS: TC- 60, TC 37-97, and TC 38-97 standards, approved by RDSO Lucknow.
