Product Specifications & Details

Product Description

The IP Based Integrated Passenger Information System (IPIS) is a state-of-the-art, network-centric communication solution designed to deliver real-time, highly reliable train information and audio-visual displays across modern railway infrastructure. Built around a robust Central Data Controller (CDC) and powered by integrated Remote Monitoring Software (RMS), the system aggregates critical station data to drive synchronized displays, automated bilingual/trilingual audio announcements, and instant platform updates.

By seamlessly orchestrating Multiline Entrance Displays, Single-Line Platform Boards, At-A-Glance Composition Boards, Coach Guidance Units, and High-Definition True Color Video Displays (OVD/IVD), IPIS eliminates passenger confusion and optimizes crowd management. Engineered specifically for 24×7 industrial operations, the system features centralized network management, self-diagnostics, and high-durability LED hardware capable of withstanding harsh outdoor environments.

Key Features

  • Centralized System Architecture: Driven by a Central Data Controller (CDC) running announcement and display software, paired with Remote Monitoring Software (RMS) and PDC for station-wide network integration.
  • Multiline Display Boards: Positioned at main station entrances and concourses to display train numbers, names, arrival/departure times, and platform numbers in mono-color for up, down, or both train directions.
  • True Color Video Displays (OVD/IVD): High-definition indoor and outdoor displays broadcasting multi-color train schedules, safety announcements, commercials, and passenger entertainment.
  • Platform & At-A-Glance Displays: Mono-color boards strategically located on platforms and foot-over bridges to highlight scheduled train details along with complete coach compositions.
  • Coach Guidance System: Compact platform-level display boards indicating exact coach positions for smooth passenger boarding and crowd management.
  • 24×7 Industrial LED Monitors: Heavy-duty, industrial-grade displays designed for continuous operation across enquiry offices, waiting halls, and indoor passenger hubs.
