The Electronic LC Gate Telephone System manufactured by General Auto Electric Corporation (GAEC) provides direct, reliable voice communication between Station Master (ASM) offices and Level Crossing (LC) gates. Compliant with RDSO Specification No. RDSO/SPN/TC/51/2021 Rev.1, this system supports up to 6 Gate Telephones connected to a single Master Telephone. Equipped with integrated voice recording, GPS time synchronization, surge protection, and solar battery charging capability, it ensures secure and fail-safe communications for railway level crossings.

Key System Features

  • Multi-Gate Connectivity: One Master Telephone connects up to 6 Gate Telephones (3 Gates on UP side, 3 Gates on DN side).
  • Voice Recording & Playback: Features 64 kbps PCM voice recording with date, time, and station identity stamping.
  • GPS Synchronization: GPS with antenna for accurate time setting and RTC clock calibration (+3.5 PPM).
  • Power & Surge Backup: Dedicated power supply with 24V 7AH battery backup, solar panel connectivity, and surge protection on all units.
  • Conference Calling: Supports selective conference call features for All UP and All DN gates simultaneously.
  • Configurable IDs: Gate telephones are individually configurable with unique UP / DN IDs; approved by RDSO Lucknow.
